I grew up with Morgans as my Dad owned a dairy farm and he worked the land with part Morgan or Morgan work horses. I was horse crazy from the beginning and my parents bought me my first Morgan mare in about 1948. She was from Ten Sleep, WY. As a girl and older teenager I rode everyday, and loved that Morgan mare. In 1959 I bought a registered Morgan colt. He was a year old when Bob and I were married.

Bob is as enamored by the Morgans as I am and has done a lot of driving over the years. He doesn't like to ride as well but he is so supportive of me. I am still riding some, but we are cutting way back on our breeding program because of health and age. It has taken us years to get the collection of broodmares that we have. We have sold some of them and we are so sad when one leaves, but we have been so lucky that they have gone to good homes.

We raised some Morgans back in the 60's and 70's, then we just trail rode a little and started a business that took most of our time. About 20 years ago we became Dream Catcher Farm and have seriously raised and shown these horses. They have been successful in the showring as well as being family members and trail horses. We are a very small farm and all the horses are handled regularly. Julie Stevens, our trainer, has been such a help to us. In fact without help we couldn't keep as many horses as we have- or maybe none.

We love to show our horses so please come to visit. Just let us know ahead of time so we will be here. We always have some young stock for sale, and now and then, one of our beloved broodmares. -Barbara and Bob Fink
